The Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show has been running in September for 30 years, and is internationally recognised as one of the best in Australia. Flowers are collected at the peak of the season from within the Shire of Ravensthorpe, 12,872 square kilometres. An unusually large number of different species occur in the region, nearly 2,000; up to 700 varieties are exhibited and identified with their scientific and common names at the show. Visitors are encouraged to take photographs.
Devonshire teas are available and the wildflower shop offers a colourful variety of books, goods, garments and crafts, as well as maps for wildflower drives and walks. 4x4 Tag Along Tours and Guided Walks are available.
